For someone new to blogging, choosing a blog platform could be a challenge.
There are a lot blog platform that you can search on the Internet to start a blog.
Just search "blog" on Google and you will find a variety of blogging platform.
Most of these blog platform are free to join and they also offer optional paid upgrades on certain services.
The top two blogging platform are Blogger and WordPress which are free but with optional paid upgrades.
Blogger offer an easy and simple setup to creating blogs even for a blogging newbie.
WordPress offer much more features and more search engine friendly but more complicated setup.
If you are new to blogging and have zero knowledge about the Internet, html, css etc, I would recommend you start a blog at Blogger.
Blogger is so easy to use.

My experience, blogger is easy but later it shows wordpress does more for me and certainly with own hosting is the ultimate weapon for making waves in business. Keep sharing. Cheers.
No doubt about that.
Wordpress is the best.
But for newbies, wordpress is like add maths to a 5th grader.
